1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AvelPOS platform (available at avelpos.com and app.avelpos.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using AvelPOS on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. The Service

AvelPOS provides a cloud-based point-of-sale and business management software platform. The service includes:

AvelPOS is a software platform only. We do not process payments on behalf of your customers - your business handles its own payment collection.

4. Subscription & Billing

Plans and Pricing

AvelPOS offers four subscription tiers: Startup, Medium, Gold, and Custom. Pricing is displayed on our pricing page in Nigerian Naira (₦). Prices may change with 30 days notice.

Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full platform access. No credit card is required. After the trial, a subscription is required to continue access.

Payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Failure to pay within 7 days of the due date may result in account suspension. Your data remains intact during suspension and for 90 days after account closure.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day refund on your first payment if you are not satisfied. After this period, subscriptions are non-refundable. Contact support at support@avelpos.com for billing issues.

5. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into AvelPOS - your products, customers, sales records, and financial data are yours. We are a data processor, not a data owner.

We will not access your business data except as necessary to provide support you request or to maintain the platform. We will never sell your data.

You can export your data at any time from within the platform. Upon account closure, we provide a 90-day window to retrieve your data before it is permanently deleted.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use AvelPOS to:

7. Limitation of Liability

AvelPOS is provided "as is." We do not guarantee 100% uptime at all times, though we target a 99.9% SLA. We are not liable for:

8. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. AvelPOS may terminate accounts for violation of these terms, non-payment, or fraudulent activity. We will provide reasonable notice except in cases of serious violation.

9. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes will be referred to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, before any legal action is taken.
